Job summary

A-TEK, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to serve as the lead technical architect for a federal project. The role oversees assessment, design, documentation, and governance of complex cloud and hybrid environments while supporting systems engineering and cybersecurity.

This is a remote position supporting a client in Silver Spring, MD with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance. The incumbent will lead architecture assessments across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CDaaS, develop

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions.
Experience architecting solutions within AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and FIPS 199 security requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead cloud architecture assessments for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CDaaS environments.
Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams, data flows, and security boundary docs.
Analyze as-is and to-be enterprise architectures to support modernization.
Prepare technical documentation and executive briefings.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
