Job summary

Attain Talent in the United States is seeking a Cloud Architect to design, secure, and scale modern cloud solutions for high-impact federal initiatives. This role focuses on resilient architectures, modernization, and embedding cloud security and compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams to meet regulatory requirements, support IAM and encryption, and drive automation and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of cloud engineering, infrastructure, or architecture work.
• Hands-on AWS design (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3) with Azure exposure including DR and resiliency planning.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Lead modernization and migration across enterprises.
• Develop cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Partner with engineering, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal security and regulatory requirements.
• Support IAM, encryption, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations.
• Assess risks, tradeoffs, resiliency, and performance.
• Translate mission and business needs into scalable cloud architectures.
