Job summary

Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) seeks a Senior Cloud AI Developer for a remote role supporting U.S. teams. You will design, build, and maintain Java-based cloud apps on Google Cloud Platform, delivering secure, scalable image workflows and RESTful APIs for internal and partner use.

You will implement AI-enabled capabilities, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and security stakeholders to ship reliable software at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with additional experience if no degree.
• Strong Java backend/API development experience.
• Hands-on GCP, serverless and/or containers deployment.
• REST APIs with auth, integration and versioning considerations.
• Security-focused development with IAM, encryption and auditing.
• CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code familiarity.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, observability, and production support.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based cloud apps on GCP.
• Build secure, scalable image-processing workflows and APIs.
• Implement AI-enabled capabilities in applications.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Ensure security, compliance, and data protection standards.
