Job summary

Avania is seeking a Project Manager to lead clinical trials from planning through delivery. You will coordinate across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Programming, Data Management, and other functions to ensure on-time, in-scope study delivery.

You will manage plans, timelines, resources, and budgets using tools like Microsoft Project, while ensuring protocol adherence and quality. This role offers a remote-based arrangement in the US with coaching and growth opportunities.

• Proven track record delivering on study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead US-based and global trials, coordinating across Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Programming, Data Management, and other functions.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements using Microsoft Project or Gantt charts.
• Monitor project finances including scope, invoicing, milestones, revenue, margins, and losses.
• Identify scope changes and communicate rationale clearly.
• Manage external vendors and ensure alignment with requirements, timelines and quality.
• Review study protocols and ensure deliverables meet protocol requirements.
• Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues.
• Maintain communication with functional leads to understand priorities and resource needs.
• Navigate competing priorities and support resource planning across projects.
• Use KPIs to monitor execution and support strategic alignment.
• Contribute to standardized PM processes and continuous improvement culture.
