Job summary

Arcus Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to support regulatory compliant delivery of clinical studies. You will oversee vendor management, data systems, site performance, and budget handling in a matrix environment. The role is remote or in-house based on prior experience, reporting to Clinical Operations Manager.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pharma, a science degree, and strong GCP knowledge; oncology experience is beneficial. Bay Area hybrid/office options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and at least 5 years in pharma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of trial management experience, oncology preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial terminology and activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of clinical trials, vendor management, and site oversight.
• Collect essential documents for study initiation and maintain sponsor communications.
• Track enrollment, site performance, and monitoring metrics; ensure ICH GCP compliance.
• Support study plans, CRFs, EDC/IRXRS specifications, and UAT activities.
• Coordinate CROs and vendors, manage budgets, invoicing, and timelines.
• Lead site visits, TMF setup, and protocol deviation reviews when needed.
• Prepare progress reports and escalate issues to the Clinical Program Manager.
