Job summary

Calyxo, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist to proctor CVAC cases, train surgical teams, and provide clinical product support in a remote-capable role across the territory.

The position covers assigned CVAC cases within the territory, region, or nation as needed, with travel to customer sites to support physician training and field education. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical experience in surgical settings, be able to travel up to 90% by car, and hold a valid US driver’s

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in surgical settings such as scrub tech, X-ray tech, RN/BSN or laser tech.
• Experience with perioperative care and instrument preparation is preferred.
• Experience utilizing fluoroscopy is a plus.
• Experience in a medical device environment is beneficial.
• Experience in a start-up pace is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage as assigned
• Train the surgical team to assist in patient outcomes during training
• Maintain knowledge of perioperative surgical technology and hospital policies
• Develop technical acumen to serve as an educational resource
• Demonstrate interactions with hospital service providers
• Maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery, including QC audits
• Troubleshoot equipment per standard procedure
• Provide intra-operative clinical product support
• Ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies
• Assist in procedural training for physicians and staff
• Collaborate with commercial team and TS M for account management
• Support education of APPs, office and hospital staff
• Help facilitate Residency Education
• Ensure compliance with company policies on promotions
• Collaborate with Clinical Specialist teams for case reviews and knowledge sharing
• Other duties as assigned
