Exelixis, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Science Director (Biotech Oncology) to design and develop oncology studies, prepare protocols and synopses, and support regulatory filings. The role interacts with investigators, medical monitors, and internal teams to ensure high quality data and study execution.

The candidate should have 8+ years in clinical development (Pharm.D./PhD/MD) with strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel 10–25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D., PhD, or M.D. with 8+ years in biotech/pharma clinical development.
• Experience in design, execution and reporting of oncology trials.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of scientific presentations.

Responsibilities

• Designs and initiates study protocols and documentation in compliance with GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with investigators and study teams to produce synopses, protocols and CRFs; supports site visits and investigator meetings.
• Delivers high quality scientific presentations to external customers and contributes to publications and presentations.
