Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced RN/LPN to join the California Independent Medical Review (CA IMR) team as Lead Coordinator - Clinical Review, a fully remote role supporting workers’ compensation medical case reviews. You will interpret medical records and prepare clear summaries for expert review.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN or LPN license in the state, have at least 2 years of clinical experience, and demonstrate strong written communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years clinical experience required.
• Current LPN or RN license valid in state of practice.
• A degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation to ensure sufficiency for clinical summaries.
• Complete clinical summary template.
• Review requested treatments for accurate entry.
• Review expert specialty designation for accuracy and escalate questions when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
