Job summary

MES Solutions is seeking a self-driven RN or LPN to join our remote team as a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator. You will review peer review reports, ensure clinical citations, and maintain alignment with client agreements, regulatory standards, and state/federal mandates.

The role emphasizes high-quality reports, independent work, and adherence to confidentiality while supporting customer satisfaction and QA initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN nursing license required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program or related medical experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years clinical or related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, medications and lab values.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and compute rates/percentages.
• Proficient typing at 40 WPM or more; proficient computer & office software skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
• Ensure evidence-based rationales are provided and that references are current and reputable.
• Verify client instructions and ensure all questions are addressed.
• Ensure reports are well-formatted, high-quality and compliant with standards.
• Confirm board specialty review and COI attestations are in place.
• Identify inconsistencies and obtain clarifications from Peer Reviewer.
• Assist in resolution of customer complaints and QA issues.
• Ensure all federal ERISA and state mandates are followed.
• Provide guidance to management on quality and compliance with policies.
• Support efficient use of company resources and participate in training.
