Job summary

MCMC is seeking a motivated Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator to review peer review reports, ensuring quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance from a home-based setting. You will leverage clinical expertise to support fair outcomes and client expectations.

Responsibilities include QA review, evidence-based rationale, and ensuring references are current. Strong nursing credentials and excellent communication are required to maintain high-quality, compliant reports across multiple clients.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN/LPN/LVN) required.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program or related medical experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values.
• Qualified typist with minimum 40 WPM.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; strong English usage and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports and related materials.
• Ensure evidence-based rationales are provided for all recommendations and determinations.
• Verify client instructions and questions are addressed.
• Cite clinical references and ensure sources are current and reputable.
• Ensure reports are high quality in content and formatting per company standards.
• Confirm proper board specialty review and documentation per client specs/state mandates.
• Verify no conflicts of interest and that signatures are compliant with final reports.
• Identify inconsistencies and coordinate with Peer Reviewer for clarification or corrections.
• Assist in resolving client complaints and QA issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA and state mandates; support management with QA guidance.
• Promote efficient use of company resources and participate in training activities.
