Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN/LPN/LVN) required.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, medications and lab values.
• Proficient typist (40 WPM) and able to work accurately.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, Excel and Internet.
• Excellent English grammar, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, addendums, or supplemental reviews.
• Provide evidence-based rationales and ensure client instructions are followed.
• Verify references are current and from reputable journals.
• Ensure reports meet quality standards and company specifications.
• Identify inconsistencies and obtain clarifications from Peer Reviewers as needed.
• Support resolution of client complaints and QA issues.
• Adhere to federal ERISA and state mandates at all times.
