UBC is seeking a Clinical Project Research Manager (Central Site) for a US-based fixed-term contract. You will lead project teams, oversee start-up to close-out activities for central-site projects, manage budgets, and report progress to sponsors.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, stakeholder management, and travel up to 10%. UBC offers remote opportunities and a pathway for longer-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in Clinical Project Management at a research/academic site.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven supervisory and team leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead UBC project teams to deliver milestones at site level.
• Oversee all aspects of project conduct from start-up through close-out.
• Manage projects within scope and budget.
• Develop plans to achieve milestones and monitor progress.
• Prepare timelines and deliverables; coordinate minutes.
• Ensure budget tracking against contract milestones.
• Serve as primary sponsor contact for central site.
• Coordinate meetings and provide central site training.
• Present project information at defences and reviews.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and participate in audits.
• Help lead process improvement initiatives.
