Job summary

CVS Health/Omnicare CIC in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to provide clinical support for long-term care dispensing pharmacies in multiple states. This remote role can be performed from anywhere in the US, with shifts Monday–Friday 2pm–10:30pm and every third weekend.

The position emphasizes optimizing outcomes through MTM, clinical assessments, and collaboration with prescribers. Eligible candidates will maintain SC licensure and pursue multi-state authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Current license to practice in good standing in the state of residence.
• Proficient in clinical interpretation: drug interactions, disease interactions, allergies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical assessment and intervention on prescribed medication therapy.
• Manage rejected clinical claims by proposing covered alternatives and adjusting orders as needed.
• Initiate Prior Authorizations or Medical Exceptions when required by payers.
