Job summary

CVS Health Corporation, through Omnicare, seeks a Clinical Intervention Center Pharmacy Staff for a full-time, remote role able to be based anywhere in the United States, with a Spartanburg, SC link.

The role provides clinical support to long-term care pharmacies across multiple states, performing MTM, prior authorizations, and therapeutic interchanges while ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Shift is 2pm–10:30pm EST, with every third weekend, SC licensure encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or higher.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing in the state you reside in.
• Proficient in clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions and allergies.
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evening, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to become licensed in South Carolina.
• Willing to become licensed in additional States as needed.
• Knowledgeable about long term care regulations (OBRA, OSHA, state laws and other federal laws).
• Licensed Pharmacist in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support services to long-term care dispensing pharmacies for multiple states.
• Manage time-dependent clinical assessment and intervention on prescribed medication therapy.
• Initiate Prior Authorizations or Medical Exceptions as required by payers.
• Deliver Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services by licensed pharmacists.
• Generate Therapeutic Interchange requests for prescribers and update orders as needed.
• Implement Facility Formulary preferences for prospective medication changes.
• Coordinate National Account or multi-chain customer requests.
