Job summary

N-Power Medicine, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Specialist (CRS) Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for designated health system accounts.

You will oversee onboarding, training, staffing, and performance, while maintaining compliance and strong customer relationships from a remote role. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will ensure operational excellence at the account level, develop high-performance teams, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced oncology

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, oncology clinical research, or health system-based programs.
• 4+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of compliance and quality expectations in research settings.
• Extensive familiarity with ambulatory oncology workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, day to day leadership for the CRS team assigned to a specific region.
• Set clear expectations for performance, workflows, and professional behavior; monitor workload across sites.
• Address routine performance issues and escalate as needed to the Associate Director.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and highly engaged team culture.
• Partner with the Senior Manager to support hiring needs and onboarding for new team members.
• Identify onboarding gaps and recommend improvements to training processes.
• Conduct regular check-ins and coaching with direct reports; support skill development.
• Participate in performance reviews and contribute to promotions or corrective actions.
• Monitor documentation and process workflows to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with quality/compliance teams on findings or corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with health system partners and steer account initiatives.
