Job summary

Dr. Autoimmune is hiring a Metabolic Coordinator (MC) to guide patients through structured care plans within an established clinical framework. You will inherit an active caseload and work under the head clinician’s oversight in a fully remote telehealth role across the United States.

The ideal candidate has a clinical nutrition degree, active telehealth licensure, and experience with functional medicine principles, ready to start within approximately three weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have a clinical nutrition degree and credentials (RDN, CNS or LDN).
• Active licensure to practice nutrition via telehealth.
• Clinical nutrition experience with patients.
• Working knowledge of functional medicine principles.
• Willingness to work within an established framework overseen by the head clinician.
• Ability to take on a full caseload immediately.
• Professional references.

Responsibilities

• Take over and continue care for existing patients transitioning from the departing nutritionist.
• Lead patients through clinic-designed care plans from intake to follow-up sessions.
• Review clinical lab results with patients within our framework.
• Provide nutrition guidance, supplement protocols, and accountability aligned with each patient’s plan.
• Work closely with the head clinician for oversight and final direction on care.
• Keep accurate, timely patient records and session notes.
• Contribute to a team culture sharing in the practice’s success.

Metabolic Coordinator (Clinical Nutritionist), 100% Remote Telehealth

Dr. Autoimmune · Full time · Remote (US) · Start date: ~3 weeks

Pay: $45 per session

About us

Dr. Autoimmune is a fully remote functional medicine practice serving patients across the US through telehealth. Our practice is led by a clinician with 18 years of experience, and we focus on root-cause care for autoimmune and chronic conditions, including Hashimoto’s, Graves’, rheumatoid arthritis, IBD, celiac disease and MS.

About the role

We’re hiring an experienced, credentialed clinical nutritionist to join our team as a Metabolic Coordinator (MC). You’ll guide patients through structured care plans within our established clinical framework, with oversight from our head clinician.

This is not a slow ramp-up. You’ll inherit an active caseload from our departing nutritionist and should expect a full schedule right away.

What you’ll do

• Take over and continue care for existing patients transitioning from our departing nutritionist
• Lead patients through clinic-designed care plans, from intake through follow-up sessions
• Review clinical lab results with patients and help them understand them, within the scope of our framework
• Provide nutrition guidance, supplement protocols and accountability aligned with each patient’s plan
• Work closely with the head clinician, who provides oversight and final direction on care
• Keep accurate, timely patient records and session notes
• Contribute to a team culture that shares in the practice’s success

Required qualifications

• A degree in clinical nutrition, dietetics or a closely related field
• Current professional credentials such as RDN, CNS or LDN
• Active licensure, or legal authority to practice nutrition via telehealth.
• Clinical experience working with patients as a nutritionist
• Working knowledge of functional medicine principles
• Willingness to work within an established framework and follow care plans under the head clinician’s oversight
• Ability to take on a full caseload immediately
• Professional references

Please note: This role requires a clinical nutrition degree and professional credentials. Health coaches and coaching-only certifications will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience interpreting functional or specialty lab panels
• Experience with autoimmune or chronic-condition patients

Schedule

• Full time, Monday–Friday, Mountain Time
• Lunch 12:30–1:30 MT
