Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Clinical Documentation Manager to lead CDI efforts across the organization, guiding teams, performance monitoring, and quality assurance in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will drive data-informed improvements, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration with CDI leadership and stakeholders, while ensuring high-quality operational outcomes and accurate coding for reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Registered Nurse license required.
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) certification required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Experience using AI in team management and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical data reporting and analyze data outcomes to enhance operations.
• Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and communicate updates to CDI leaders.
• Validate CDI quality assurance measures for accurate metrics and reimbursement.
• Support DRG assurance by analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish and monitor team workflows and evaluate performance.
• Chair market-level steering committees and documentation improvement meetings.
• Assist in developing department policies and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on documentation initiatives.
