Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Pharmacist - Clinical Applications to join the Pharmacy Informatics Team. This role focuses on developing, testing, training, and supporting Epic-based clinical systems used in medication management across the university's hospital network.

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
4+ years of professional experience in information technology and/or healthcare.
PharmD or BSc in Pharmacy required; post-graduate residency preferred.
Scholarship and teaching experience will be regarded favorably.

Responsibilities

Design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of clinical systems used in medication management and pharmacy automation.
Configure and maintain Compass Rose module within Epic EMR, including enrollments, care plans, assessments, and templates.
Collaborate with specialty pharmacy, medication access, and operations to support system enhancements and training.
Develop and support complex, multi-step order transmittal workflows and related operations.
Provide domain expertise to advance department and enterprise goals and stay current with practice issues.
