Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an Analytics Consultant to design, develop, and automate BI reports and dashboards across Power BI and Tableau. You will translate business needs into technical solutions and work with Clinical Operations, IT, and customers to optimize performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Analytics, CS, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience preferred.
• Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with healthcare, pharmacy, supply chain, or clinical operations environments preferred.
• Experience supporting technical projects and cross-functional initiatives preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• PowerBI, Tableau, Google Big Query, SQL, SAP, data visualization and dashboard development preferred.
• Reporting automation, Data analysis and KPI development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance operational dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics.
• Design and automate recurring business reports to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Develop and support Power BI, Tableau, and other BI reporting platforms.
• Create executive-level and customer-facing performance reporting.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvements.
• Support the development of predictive and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and data management processes.
• Develop standardized reporting frameworks and KPI methodologies.
• Optimize data collection, validation, and reporting workflows.
• Support continuous improvement through automation and technology enablement.
• Serve as liaison between Clinical Operations, IT, vendors and customer tech resources.
• Support implementation and maintenance of data interfaces and integrations.
• Assist with Epic Willow/CardinalASSIST integration and related tech initiatives.
• Coordinate troubleshooting of data feeds and reporting systems.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and deployment.
• Support consultants with reporting, analytics, and technical requests.
• Develop tools and resources to improve consultant efficiency and outcomes.
• Provide analytical support for implementations, business reviews, and initiatives.
• Support ROI analyses and inventory optimization projects.
