Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a BioPharma Reporting & Specialty Analytics engineer to join a fast-paced, Agile team. You will craft full-stack analytics from clinical data across EMR, PMS and PDS systems, building reports and dashboards to inform clinical product use and efficacy.

The role emphasizes data enrichment, new product development for manufacturers’ data initiatives, and enabling sales tools. Strong Python, SQL, and CI/CD experience are expected, with healthcare data exposure a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good work ethic and sense of humor
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (OOP, Declarative, Functional)
• Python experience is required
• SSIS experience is preferred
• Airflow experience is desired
• Data visualization experience with Tableau is desired
• Must have SQL experience with relational databases, MS SQL preferred
• Comfortable working with open-source technologies
• Experience with healthcare data is preferred
• Experience building & deployment pipelines to support CI/CD; ArgoCD, Harbor, Liquibase
• Experience with GCP is preferred; GKE Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Building analytic products from clinical data sets sourced from multiple systems (EMR, labs, PMS, PDS)
• Providing reports and dashboards to help practices and pharma companies drive efficacy and usage of clinical products
• Enriching data elements from reference source systems to enhance analytics offerings
• Develop and define new products to enable pharma manufacturers’ key data initiatives
• Support and build sales enablement tools to provide feasibility requests to manufacturers
• Daily operations and support
