Job summary

Accuity in the United States (remote) is seeking a Data Scientist to develop, evaluate, and monitor AI systems that drive automation in clinical documentation and revenue cycle workflows.

Reporting to the Vice President of Data Science and AI, you will combine classical machine learning with large language model work, build ground truth datasets, and design rigorous evaluation frameworks to ensure production-readiness and trust in clinical use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and improve predictive and machine learning models.
• Maintain and retrain models in production.
• Design evaluation samples and metrics for production readiness.
• Collaborate with AI engineering and clinical SMEs to ensure model validity.
• Document work for reproducibility and auditability.
• Ensure PHI handling complies with HIPAA and Accuity policies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, data science, or a related quantitative field

Master’s degree in a related field
