Job summary

Accuity is seeking a Data Scientist to develop, evaluate, and monitor predictive AI systems that enhance clinical documentation and revenue cycle workflows. You will combine classical ML with large language model work, establishing trust through rigorous evaluation and ground truth datasets.

You will partner with AI Engineering and Data Architecture to deploy models, maintain evaluation tooling, and ensure HIPAA-aligned practices in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of applied data science or AI experience, including production.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; healthcare data experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, train, and improve predictive and machine learning models for chart triage and revenue cycle outcomes.
  • Maintain production models with retraining cadence and threshold tuning.
  • Design evaluation samples and ground truth datasets for reproducibility.
  • Analyze performance by clinical segments and quantify clinical and financial impact.
  • Collaborate with physicians, coders, and clinical SMEs to validate model behavior.
