Job summary

Visible, a remote-first company building tools for founders and investors, seeks a Client Data Specialist to support venture capital data workflows. You will ingest, cleanse, and map data from portfolio companies and own AI tooling improvements.

You'll collaborate with Customer Success and Product Support, scale AI-assisted processes, and provide proactive data-driven insights to clients while working in a fast-paced, distributed team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with financial and operational data in a business context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation and spreadsheet software, with ability to translate unstructured data into structured formats.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, cleanse, and map portfolio data provided by portfolio companies to venture capital firms.
• Extract, transform, and load raw data from formats (Excel, PDF, CSV) into structured data in Visible.
• Verify data accuracy against source documentation and act as the Human in the Loop for AI parsing refinement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product Support to align data workflows with client expectations.
• Own and improve internal AI agent workflows and prompt design for data processing automation.
• Test, evaluate, and refine prompt structures to maximize accuracy and performance.
• Work with engineering, product, and operations to scale AI usage in customer workflows.
