Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Client Accounting Manager to lead the Claims Accounting Department in a remote, U.S.-based role. You will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting for clients.

You will collaborate with Operations Leaders and HR, prepare monthly statements, and work with auditors. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of accounting and supervisory experience, with a CPA preferred and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ accounting and supervision experience.
• College degree in accounting and/or CPA.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and supervisory abilities.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Claims Accounting Department to ensure accuracy and timely tasks.
• Collaborate with Operations Leaders and HR to monitor workflows, attendance, and scheduling.
• Adjust workloads to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and related reports for clients.
• Support preparation of corporate financial statements with Operations Leaders.
• Work with client financial auditors and present statements at board meetings.
• Process and review AR/AP transactions and related entries.
• Oversee provider database maintenance, including W‑9 collection and verification.
• Oversee client bank account funding and daily fund review.
• Manage Access and Excel databases; ensure data integrity.
• Develop Excel reports and tools to support decision‑making.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Accounting Coordinators.
• Review quality and accuracy of work by Accounting Coordinators.
• Drive process improvements and automation in Claims Accounting.
• Participate in special projects and assignments from management.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
