Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a candidate to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. The role requires assessing damage, processing payments, and maintaining properly documented claim files in line with policy requirements.

Ideal applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree, familiarity with personal and commercial lines, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work in a team. The position may involve travel and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to effectively negotiate first and third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, State salvage forms and title requirements, preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage and issues payments.
• Develops action plans to meet state contract deadlines and drive resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client and broker.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability and damage analysis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports quality programs.
• Travels as required.
