Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You will assess damage, make payments, and ensure proper documentation and coding per policy.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential in a remote, nationwide telecommuting setup with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and loss data to negotiate claims
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage procedures
• Strong communication, written, and presentation skills
• Proficient in PC usage and office software
• Analytical and interpretive skills; good organization and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims
• Develop action plans to meet deadlines and resolve files promptly
• Identify subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker
• Maintain professional client relations; perform coverage and damage analysis
• Travel as required and support quality programs
