Job summary
Accelerated Claims Inc. is seeking an Account Representative (Claims Specialist) to support our claims recovery efforts. This fully remote role includes one week onsite orientation and a standard Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.
You will work with insurance carriers to research, resolve, and secure payment on outstanding medical claims. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in medical billing or claims processing, and proficiency with EMR systems and common office
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience in medical billing, claims processing, or insurance follow-up.
- Familiarity with UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms.
Responsibilities
- Place outbound calls to insurance carriers to research and resolve claims
- Review and process medical claims for accurate billing and reimbursement
- Enter and update claim information across multiple systems accurately
- Follow up on outstanding claims to maximize client recovery
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and company policies
- Apply knowledge of UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms when applicable
