Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loss Claim Recovery Analysis Analyst to perform financial reconciliation on liquidated loans and identify recovery opportunities to mitigate losses for CMS and clients. Remote from home with a target pay of $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr.

You will analyze data, document evidentiary summaries, and communicate findings to investors. Responsibilities include reconciling loan advances, updating LoanServ, and ensuring timely completion of projects while staying

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ mortgage servicing experience within default related areas.
• Strong financial reconciliation and loss analysis skills.
• Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA and PMI claims preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile loan advances after paid expense claims and maintain records.
• Maintain LoanServ entries and complete tasks on action dates.
• Respond to quality reviews within 24 hours with corrections.
• Learn new skills and expand knowledge to perform duties.
• Maintain monthly performance aligned with quality expectations.
• Provide detailed written explanations for losses to dispute financial impact.
• Review rebutted responses from external partners/investors and procure support.
• Analyze multiple data elements to apply proper decision rationale.
