Society Insurance in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead a Workers Compensation team, providing direction, oversight, and support to claims professionals for quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with internal partners, develop training programs, monitor performance metrics, and drive cost-efficient, compliant claims operations while fostering accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; 10+ years of complex workers’ compensation claims handling in specified states or 14+ years in multi-line claims.
• Licensing as required prior to handling a state where Society requires it.
• Proven performance in loss handling and claims supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, oversight, and mentoring to a claims staff team.
• Oversee file handling, engagement, and career growth of staff.
• Assist in selection, orientation, and development of claims personnel.
• Analyze workflows for compliance and implement improvements.
• Monitor claims support operations, productivity, and quality reviews.
• Review damages, coverage, and liability with compliance across laws.
• Develop training programs and identify subject-matter experts.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Risk Control, and Marketing on trends.
• Maintain professional knowledge through CE activities and travel as needed.
• Monitor key metrics, dashboards, and audits to drive goals and cost control.
