Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior Revenue Cycle Management professional in the United States to oversee audit activities and ensure QA, compliance, and accurate documentation across the revenue cycle. You will lead an audit-focused team, coordinate responses, and communicate with payors and regulators as needed.

The role emphasizes process improvement, timely responses, and adherence to Federal and State regulations, with a focus on Medicare updates and payer rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4-8 years of experience, preferred.
• Leadership, project management, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Urology or wound care product knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Audit team and respond to audit requests in a timely manner and develop audit processes.
• Focus on quality assurance, quality improvement, and compliance with Federal and State regulations.
• Lead team reviewing validity of clinical documentation for accuracy and compile response packets for audits.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion and high standards of tasks.
• Provide monthly feedback on audit or recoupment inquiries, payor collections, and policies.
• Oversee all aspects of a TPE, CERT, RAC, pre/post payment, or third-party audits and respond on time.
• Oversee Recoupment or Refund requests and respond in time.
• Monitor, track, and trend all audits in progress and completed.
• Gather and review documentation for audits/recoupments from insurance companies for accuracy.
