Qualifications

10+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience, leading complex multi-discipline projects.
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET accredited preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to oversee, grow a technical department.
Experience coordinating engineering work with BIM/CAD design teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of civil/structural engineers and designers; manage project priorities and utilization.
Perform structural analysis and design for industrial steel and concrete structures and foundations.
Collaborate with department managers to grow capabilities and client relations.
Conduct regular team meetings, share updates, and recognize achievements.
Ensure quality control and address project issues; present lessons learned to the organization.
Set expectations for budget, schedule, and technical quality; drive performance and succession planning.
Oversee recruiting, staffing, and working across multiple locations; manage seconded staff.
