DEVORE RECRUITING is seeking a Civil Litigation & Insurance Subrogation Attorney for a primarily remote role with occasional travel for meetings, depositions and appearances. You will identify third-party recovery opportunities, manage subrogation and civil litigation from inception through resolution, and collaborate with insurers and employers to improve claims outcomes.

Applicants should have 5+ years of civil litigation experience with subrogation, a California Bar license, and a JD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Civil Litigation experience with a focus on subrogation.
• Active license and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Juris Doctorate Degree required.
• Superior research, analytical and negotiating abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to proactive case management.

Responsibilities

• Identify third-party recovery opportunities in complex claims.
• Pursue recovery actions and manage subrogation cases end-to-end.
• Handle civil litigation from inception through resolution, including discovery and negotiations.
• Collaborate with insurers, employers, and TPAs to integrate subrogation into claims strategies.
