Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 4 to 8 years of civil litigation experience to join its Seattle-area practice. You’ll manage matters from inception through resolution while collaborating with sophisticated clients and a strong legal team.

The practice focuses on real estate–related litigation, including construction disputes, creditors' rights, and probate matters. This role offers meaningful courtroom experience and a clear path toward shareholder or of counsel status.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of civil litigation experience.
• First- or second-chair experience handling complex litigation matters.
• Demonstrated experience with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, ADR proceedings, and trials or arbitrations.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and client-facing abilities.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality work product.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct factual investigations and interview clients and witnesses.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in court and represent clients in hearings.
• Work closely with expert witnesses.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Handle trial and arbitration preparation and attendance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop litigation strategies.
