About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all on‑site operations align with project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. While the role is remote, it requires exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to remotely direct and supervise site teams. Key Responsibilities

• Remotely supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Provide clear direction and guidance to on‑site supervisors and teams through effective communication channels.
• Implement and monitor strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on all project sites.
• Ensure quality control measures are consistently applied across all construction phases.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers via digital platforms to address challenges and make informed decisions.
• Manage site resources and material logistics from a remote perspective, coordinating with on‑site personnel.
• Review site progress reports, photographic evidence, and other documentation to assess project status.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide remote solutions to on‑site teams.
• Maintain records of site activities, including safety incidents, progress, and resource allocation, remotely.
• Foster a positive and productive working relationship with all site personnel and stakeholders through effective virtual communication.

Requirements

• A National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Proven ability to manage construction sites effectively, with strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack).
• Familiarity with project management software and digital reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
• High degree of self‑discipline, organization, and proactivity.
