Job summary

PacRim Engineering is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager in San Diego to join a team delivering Civil, Water/Wastewater, Structural, and Construction Support services. You will supervise design engineers and manage diverse projects for municipalities, DoD agencies, private developers, and other public/private organizations.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, client coordination, and successful project delivery with a focus on quality and communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public works.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam proficiency.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading project teams in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Managing communications with clients and teaming partner firms.
• Site engineering design for buildings and parking, street improvement design, pavement rehabilitation, and utility coordination.
• Permit processing and construction support.
• Project planning and execution, budgets and schedules, and business development.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET)

PE license (California preferred)

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (plus)
