Job summary

PacRim Engineering in Pasadena, CA is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead design teams and deliver multi-disciplinary civil projects for municipalities, DoD, and private developers. You will oversee planning, budgets, schedules, client communications, and relations with teaming partners, ensuring technical excellence and on-time, on-budget delivery.

A CA PE license and 10+ years of relevant experience are preferred; a Master’s is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public works.
• Skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading project teams in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Managing communications with clients and teaming partner firms.
• Site engineering design for buildings and parking.
• Street improvement design and pavement rehabilitation.
• Rough and precise grading plans; storm design and drainage calculations.
• Potable and reclaimed waterlines design; sewer pipe design.
• Flood control improvements; freeway and interchange improvements.
• Specifications, utility coordination, permit processing, and construction support.
• Project planning, budget and schedules; business development and proposal preparation.
