Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• P.E. registration with ECSA desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of civil design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley Systems.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical principles, and transportation engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan civil infrastructure projects (roads, earthworks, drainage, water systems).
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using CAD and related software.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
• Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley Systems).
• Solid understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical principles, and transportation engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with infrastructure projects in **Upington, Northern Cape**, or similar arid/semi-arid regions is a plus.
