Job summary

Leading National Insurance Agency Network is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy across a distributed, remote workforce. You will translate complex cyber risks into business decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

The role requires a business mindset, strong communication with the Board, and the ability to scale programs across nationwide partner agencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity and risk management.
• 3–5 years in senior leadership within the Insurance industry.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• CISM or CISSP certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year enterprise cybersecurity strategy aligned with growth and risk tolerance.
• Lead regulatory alignment across federal/state laws and frameworks (NIST, SOC 2).
• Oversee VRM, third-party risk, and M&A due diligence for cybersecurity health.
