Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Information Security and Risk leader to oversee the CISO Program & Operations. You will coordinate strategy, governance, and cross-functional execution across the cybersecurity program to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities include portfolio and project management, reporting, budget oversight, and vendor governance; you will drive continuous improvement with data-driven insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, technology risk, portfolio management, or program operations.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity project or portfolio management and reporting.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Executive reporting materials and metrics to track program performance.
• Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in cybersecurity portfolio management, governance, or strategy execution.
• Experience in regulated industries and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS in Cybersecurity, etc.)
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PRINCE2.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Facilitation & Program Oversight: align activities with enterprise cybersecurity objectives and monitor performance.
• Project Intake & Demand Management: coordinate intake across stakeholders and prioritize work.
• Project & Portfolio Management: track initiatives, milestones, risks, and resources.
• CISO Program Continuous Monitoring & Reporting: develop dashboards and trend analyses for executives.
• Budget & Financial Management: support budget, forecasts, and financial governance.
• Vendor Management & Governance: oversee vendor performance and contracts.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Operational Integration: foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Continuous Improvement & Capability Development: enhance processes, playbooks, and tooling.
