Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer to lead our global cybersecurity strategy in a fully remote capacity. You will set the enterprise vision, drive governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and build a distributed security organization.

You will mentor teams, engage with the Board, oversee budgets, and champion innovative security technologies while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in information security leadership roles.
• Proven track record developing enterprise-wide security strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's information security strategy and roadmap.
• Establish and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures across units.
• Lead and mentor distributed information security teams.
• Oversee risk management, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage information security budget and vendor relationships.
• Advise executive leadership and Board on information security risks and strategies.
• Drive security awareness and training programs across the organization.
• Champion adoption of innovative security technologies and methodologies.
• Represent the organization on cybersecurity matters with external stakeholders.
