Job summary

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Family & Children Services seeks a Child Welfare Services Case Manager 1 in Milledgeville, GA. • Experience in investigative and comprehensive case management.
• Familiarity with Solution Based Casework (SBC).

Responsibilities

• Initiates timely face-to-face responses to screened-in reports of alleged child maltreatment.
• Develops and implements safety plans to address identified concerns.
• Collaborates with families to develop Family Functioning Agreements, Action Plans and Family Plans.
• Maintains case records and ensures visits support safety, permanency and well-being.
