Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability, clinical data, EHR, practice management, patient engagement, analytics, revenue cycle, or adjacent healthcare software domains.
• 8+ years in a Leadership role, particularly in healthcare software.
• 5 years modernization of software products while preserving customer commitments.
• 1-3 years integrating acquired products, teams, processes, or tech platforms.
• 1-3 years creating shared engineering capabilities across different product lines.
• Experience applying AI to improve engineering productivity, software quality, or delivery.
• Travel up to 10% annually for meetings and planning.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a portfolio level technology strategy across more than eight products.
• Translate product priorities into realistic technical roadmaps and investment recommendations.
• Provide architectural leadership across varied tech stacks and hosting models.
• Own engineering execution including delivery, release management, and quality engineering.
• Establish engineering standards and governance with product environment flexibility.
• Develop a pragmatic modernization approach focused on customer value and risk reduction.
• Rethink the software lifecycle for an AI-enabled environment with guardrails.
• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed R&D organization.
• Manage R&D budgets, forecasts, and vendor decisions for business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Support, Hosting, Security and Finance to improve outcomes.
• Act as senior escalation point and clearly communicate risks and costs to executives.
