Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Chief Engineer to own the end-to-end technical integrity of the program, ensuring that software, infrastructure, data, security, and operations align with requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• 7+ years of technology leadership managing enterprise platforms or teams.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM/ERP platforms, preferably Salesforce and/or Deltek Costpoint.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
• Strong understanding of security, data governance, risk, compliance, resilience, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall technical authority for the contract or program, ensuring integrity and quality of engineering solutions.
• Ensure all technical deliverables meet contractual requirements and performance objectives.
• Lead technical decision making for scope changes, risk mitigation, and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to document scope changes and their contractual impact.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to support reviews and briefings.
• Ensure tracking and transparency of technical work, schedules, and meetings.
• Set expectations for rigor, documentation, and engineering discipline across teams.
• Foster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
