Job summary

Jet Aviation Staffing is SEEKING a Chief Pilot to lead flight operations, training, and safety program implementation for a client operating under Part 135 and Part 91. The role requires hands-on line flying and executive leadership within a compliant, safety-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will manage pilots, oversee training programs, and ensure adherence to regulations while promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Meets FAA qualifications for Chief Pilot under 14 CFR Part 119.
• Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate required for the category.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee flight operations personnel and training programs.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and SMS alignment across the flight department.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, and training records.
• Oversee pilot training, line checks, and standardization evaluations.
• Collaborate with Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, and Safety Manager to drive operational excellence.
