Job summary

Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (ICLE) seeks a President to serve as CEO and public leader, advancing its mission to renew Catholic liberal education in the United States and internationally.

The President collaborates with the Board, senior leadership, educators, bishops, pastors, and partners to strengthen Catholic schools and educational communities rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition.

Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic in good standing with commitment to Church mission.
• Deep understanding of Catholic liberal education.
• Senior leadership experience in Catholic education or nonprofit/philanthropy.
• Proven fundraising and donor-relations experience.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership aligned with the Board’s vision.
• Lead staff and ensure collaboration across programs and operations.
• Advance fundraising efforts and donor relations.
• Represent ICLE at events and with diocesan leaders, donors, and partners.
• Oversee financial health, budgeting, and compliance.
• Support governance and board engagement.
