Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Chief Engineer to lead end-to-end architecture, integration, testing, and fielding for NGG Zero Trust initiatives.

You will coordinate across IPTs spanning networking, compute/storage, hardware, software, and cybersecurity to deliver mission outcomes. In this role, you will define the Zero Trust approach, manage requirements and risk, and communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• 10+ years of enterprise IT engineering and architecture experience
• Hands-on leadership of cross-functional engineering teams
• IPTs spanning networking, compute/storage, hardware and software
• Experience delivering Zero Trust solutions with hands-on contributions
• Experience communicating designs to senior leadership (O-6/GS-15)

Responsibilities

• Lead systems-level architecture, hands-on engineering, design, integration, testing, and fielding for NGG Zero Trust capabilities across enclaves.
• Coordinate cross-functional IPTs spanning networking, compute/storage, hardware integration, software integration, and cybersecurity to deliver mission outcomes.
• Define and own the Zero Trust technical approach and ensure maturity through design documentation, testing, and deployment.
• Drive requirements management, risk identification and mitigation, test planning, and lifecycle systems engineering for DoD scope.
• Coordinate RMF/JSIG alignment, eMASS/A&A activities, STIG enforcement, and contract data deliverables with AFLCMC/HNIB PMO/COR.
• Prepare and deliver briefings and roadmaps for senior leadership (O-6/GS-15).
