Job summary

RCX Sports is seeking a Head of Controllership & Accounting to lead the accounting organization, own the close process, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting. You’ll partner with senior leaders to drive data quality, governance, and system optimization across finance functions.

Responsibilities include overseeing audits, consolidations, and tax compliance, plus steering the PPA and M&A integrations while maintaining scalable processes and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• CPA certification and GAAP expertise are required.
• 8+ years in accounting/controllership with close ownership.
• Experience leading audits and building internal controls.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and GAAP-compliant statements.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and policies.
• Lead reporting to management and the Board with timely analysis.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, A/R, A/P, and working capital.
