HArts Design+Build is seeking a Remote Chief Architect Drafter & Cabinet Quoting Specialist. This part-time contract role offers flexible hours, with a clear pathway to full-time as the company grows.

Candidates should have strong Chief Architect software skills and a keen eye for detailed cabinetry drawings. The role requires timely delivery of permit-ready drawings, a robust portfolio in new builds and ADUs, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Chief Architect experience.
• Minimum 2 years of permit drafting experience.
• Strong portfolio in new builds and ADUs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English fluency, written and spoken.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cabinet drawing sets for new builds and ADUs.
• Create accurate cabinet entries from elevations, plans and quotes.
• Organize and prioritize multiple project deadlines.
• Collaborate remotely and troubleshoot design/permitting issues.

Remote Chief Architect Drafter & Cabinet Quoting Specialist

Location: Remote, California preferred, but open to the right portfolio
Job Type: Part-time contracting to start (10–30 hours/week), with a strong pathway to Full-time as the role and company evolve over the next six months
Schedule: Flexible hours, including holidays. Allotted hours per task, pay and deadline to complete
Compensation: $ TBD /hour (Commensurate with experience)

Our busy design-build office is seeking a sharp, meticulous Remote Drafter with expert-level Chief Architect software skills and solid experience in cabinet quoting. We need an active team member who can jump in immediately, work independently, and grow alongside our rapidly expanding company.

Because we specialize in detailed remodels, new builds and accessory dwelling units (ADUs), true attention to detail is non-negotiable. If you are a self-starter who takes pride in flawless construction documents and thrives under minimal supervision, we want to hear from you.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Chief Architect Software: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience (Required).

• Portfolio Standard: Must have a strong background in new builds and ADUs.
