Job summary

Indeed, the world's number 1 job site, is seeking a Software Engineer VI to lead architectural direction across Interop's integration domains. You will guide decisions with senior engineers and executives, and ensure scale with growing partner integrations.

You will mentor a team of 40-50 engineers, drive architectural clarity, and help improve parity with Big-4 partners while shaping strategy and execution across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field with 15+ years, or Master's with 12+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• Experience designing service-oriented architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and data platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience applying AI/ML to accelerate architecture, velocity, and integration quality at scale.
• Demonstrated ownership as a principal technical/product contributor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural assessment and simplification across multiple teams or domains.
• Partner with senior engineers and business partners to guide decisions and evolution.
• Document architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly.
• Translate needs into improvements for shared platforms, tools, or processes.
• Contribute code and design improvements to internal systems with high quality.
• Influence architectural standards across the engineering organization.
