Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) to design advanced chemistry problems and benchmark AI performance across undergraduate to Master’s level.

This fully remote, hourly contract lets you set your own schedule (10–40 hours/week) and contribute to how AI understands complex chemistry concepts. Collaboration with researchers will refine benchmarks and improve model reasoning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex scientific concepts in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced chemistry problems to benchmark AI performance across chemistry domains.
• Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate expert-level reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master’s-level chemistry topics.
• Provide structured, constructive feedback that helps AI models improve over time.
